I am looking at a 2011 Raptor with 30k miles and a 2013 Roush Raptor with 88k miles both are the same price but I am looking at Miles vs lots miles like 60k. Both car faxes are clean and undercarriages on both look clean. I got one day to make a decision. Help Raptors !

I don't know much about the Roush but a bone stock 2011 6.2L with good maintenance will run for ever. When ya start adding Super chargers and such there goes the reliability

I'd go with the 13. I had a supercharged 12 and now have a stock 13. I like the center stack and headlights more on the 13. I miss the power of the supercharger, but I can always add that later if I want. I do like the stock truck though.

If you aren't in a hurry, keep on looking. When I was shopping, I found a 11 and 12 with super low miles... ended up buy a 13 with the same miles for an extra $2k vs the 11/12. It was just good timing.

Cant speak for the Roush, but I have a 2014 Shelby with Whipple and its more fun than a barrel of monkeys:insane:
Mine had 50K on it,pushing 62K now and still is the best vehicle I ever owned.....
Just get a good PPI done on it and if from dealer, dont settle for their lame "inspection".

Yeah,I'd think with the Shelby's you can find a mint one, most are very well cared for,not many spend $100K and beat the shit out of them...I bought mine sight unseen (just photos) 1200 miles away and had it shipped to me.
Guy never had it off road, only used back and forth to his office and always garaged...a Street Queen if you will....had a PPI dont on it and came back 99.9,and when it arrived it looked better than right out of showroom...guy even had it totally detailed for me before he shipped...
DONT rush to buy, there are mint Raptors out there, and personally I'd take a higher mile mint one over one that clearly was beat and abused off road...I wanted one that was never off road...kind of hard to find in a regular Raptor, but hell,if they took it off-road and you can clearly see it from undercarriage,no telling what its been thru, and being so expensive to fix,I held out for mint...
Like I had said, got 62K on mine now and its still like driving a brand new vehicle.

Random dumb thoughts....

Sync 3 can be added to 2013s, and is a must-do mod IMO because Sync 2 is a shameful obnoxious piece of non-engineering. Sync 1 on the 2011 is just an "old system". Nothing about Sync 1 is great, but it's also not infuriating to use...no one's done a Sync 1->Sync 3 upgrade yet that I've seen, have heard it's impractical.

Think torsen diff can be added to 2011 ($900 part and probably another that to have installed https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-4204-F150LS , cheaper elsewhere).

Much better headlights can be added to 2011. $50 "Katana" LED bulbs from Amazon were amazing on mine.

2011 has no cooled seats, which is one of my favorite features of the my gen2.

Legendary gen1 reliability is contingent on not adding forced induction. Not suggesting it's unreliable.

Either will be awesome.
