Does the Nav Radio have a non-proprietary connector on the back of it that provides an aux input? And if so, what type of connector is used (e.g. 3.5mm or RCA)? I don't mind unplugging the remote Sync module's line-in, which I assume is currently plugged into this port.

I'm looking at adding a permanent additional audio source, and don't want any exposed wires (i.e., just plugging into the Sync panel is unacceptable. Worst case, if it's a proprietary connector, I'll blank off that Sync panel and move it to a hidden location). I hate wires. :D

I connected into the 2nd USB port above the radio. I ran an extension down along the radio and into the center console. Works slick - Its my USB2 port.

Thanks, already running USB 2, just wondering on how the stock line-in port that's in the panel next to USB #1 connects to the back of the radio. That is, is there a 3.5mm port on the back of the radio which it plugs in to, RCAs, or is it some proprietary connector?

I can't use a USB connection for this device, it's going to be handling the music playback itself.
