What he was doing with his truck and what I do is not even close to the same. As far as what looks better, I'm glad you like the way the 17's look... you should definitely run them.

Yeah dude, we got it, you just want to pick up dudes at the Starbucks. Go for the 20s. You'll definitely be the only thing getting split wide open on your truck. :supergay:

Great video. Couple of notes:
That Toyota is much lighter than a Raptor
That Toyota suspension is much softer than a Stock Raptor

That said the tires would handle a jump better in that situation. Still think given a choice 17s are a better choice if you want to air it out.

Agreed 100%.

I would agree with that also. I don't see my schedule allowing it, but if I we're able to make it out west I'd definitely throw my stocks back on. I gotta say though, the dude was hitting it pretty damn hard especially the high speed turns.

Ok bud. It sounds like you may want to get that Raptor out of the city and get you both a little fresh air.

you have to remember, this forum was built on people who offroad. you may not like the responses but coming from an offroaders point of view, you are going to get remarks that are not to your liking.

Don't think I'm a city guy that never see's dirt. I am also an off roader although my work doesn't allow me to enjoy it like I used to be able to. I have built a jeep, an early bronco, and even a full on tube buggy in my shade tree shop all with the purpose of crawling. I don't get out west much so I haven't done much with the prerunner type rigs. This is my daily driver/work truck. My work puts me in the dirt EVERY single day. I work in the oil fields of Louisiana, Texas, and North Dakota.

It's not that I am getting remarks that I don't like. I think it's a simple misunderstanding of the purpose of the truck, and as a few of the replier's have stated with first hand experience, It is possible to roll 20's and not have your truck melt into oblivion as long as you are reasonable with its limitations.

Here's my truck with 20" Methods and 35" Nittos getting some air, never had any problem. I've since switched to 17's though, the 20's came with the truck and were never my favorite... 20's are up for sale!
