2 Orders With Same Order Number?

So I contacted FP to check the status of my Raptor order and the rep. told me that there are two orders under the same order number, one is a super duty, and one is my Raptor. I only ordered one truck, what's going on here?

Order numbers are only a letter with 3 digits. I'm sure they get reused many times each year.

I don't know if the same dealer would be reusing.

Dealers can batch vehicles together with the same order number. IIRC the one order number cannot have multiples of the same body code. The Raptor and the SD have different body codes. Happened with my buddy's order and he got a build date, there was an Explorer, a Regular F150, and a Mustang, and a Raptor body code on the same order. You're fine.

Same thing happened to me. Sounds like multiple orders can be on same order number.

Mine was 2 letters and 2 numbers that I picked.

For a special order vehicle, the salesman creates the order number. Many times they will reuse the same number over and over.
