Did the same thing the first time I was hooning it in manual mode on a dirt road. Bounced off the redline in first gear and the truck went into limp home mode. Cycled the truck twice and the wrench and warning lights went off and haven't had an issue since. First gear feels incredibly short in this truck and it's easy to blow through it before you realize what's going on.

I think we’ve all done the manual by accident at least once. I wish they would have something like my Hellcat did where you have to slide the shifter to the side to put it in manual mode.

I've hit the rev limiter once - and only once - when I accidentally put mine in Manual mode and immediately let off the gas while shifting it into Drive without any drama from the electronics. The truck handled it better than I did.
