So I drove to Green Bay from my home to see my pregnant daughter today. As I arrived at her work to pick her up for a OB appointment I smell something burning. Thought it was Green Bay because it usually stinks up there. Lol. We headed to the hospital to see the doc and the truck started to pull to the right and smell returns. Got to the hospital and checked front hubs and passenger side is red hot. No more driving. Called a tow truck and flat bedded to a ford Dealer in Green Bay. Raptor #1

Call my wife to come and get me after she gets off work. She comes up to Green Bay no issues in her 2014 screw.
She picks me up and daughter and we go to dinner and drop daughter off and head back to Menasha. As we get close to home and get off the highway near home her truck starts to sputter and want to die. We pull into gas station in Appleton and try to restart and no luck. Call a tow truck and get it towed to a Ford dealer in Appleton. Raptor #2.

This is all within 6 hours. I have a 2010 Scab with 28k miles. Her 2014 screw is at 41k miles. Never had both trucks break in the same day. Will update after I get some diagnosis from the stealers. Wish me luck.

So update to the issues with both trucks. My 2010 scab the front passenger side brake caliper seized heated up the front end pretty good so getting new rotors brake pads calipers on both sides upfront.
On the wife’s 2014 screw she has a broken valve spring number five on the driver side after some investigation by our mechanic. They’re gonna pull the valve cover off the passenger side also tomorrow morning and look and make sure there’s nothing else wrong and then replace the valve spring and all appropriate mechanical items to go along with it. Said it didn’t look like there was any issue with the valve collapsing into the piston so hopefully when they make the repairs all will be good. From what I’ve read it’s pretty common in a 6.2 for this to happen.
Funny thing is my wife’s truck only has 42,000 miles on it but things happen. Glad it’s not worse.
