I wonder how much different the build process is between a 800A and 801A. There is a bunch of people who got their 22's already with the 800A package. If our dates hold and they have all the parts some of us might see the truck end on February, first week March. Which would be insane considering all circumstances.

Just got told by Anthony that my previous 2.14.22 build week is now 2.11.22 build day.

The cursed Friday build day.

If you haven’t watched the videos on YouTube of the F150 plant and the assembly and how much is now automated it’s worth the time. Pretty impressive facility.

Here’s my theory.

Ford now has a good handle on what parts they have and what they can build (hence the delay in all the scheduling) and they are trying not to repeat the mess that was 2021. I could very well see us getting our 2022’s on time due to the fact that it’s much easier to build and ship a truck straight off the line than it is to coordinate the completion and shipment of 90% complete 2021 sitting at an offsite lot.

Is this fair or right? No way. I’d be pissed if a 2022 was delivered before a 2021 but I could see it playing out that way.

It's already playing out that way. Good handful of members have taken delivery of their 2022s. They've been base models sure, but they're out there.

I'm biased because I'm waiting on a 2022, but from a business standpoint, there's no way I would stop an assembly line that's chugging along just to finish up other trucks. That's what separate quality control bays are for.

Just got a build date of 2/12 from FP. A Saturday, but still the week of 2/7!
