Because he needs to be able to drive it. That EPAS was  NEVER designed to steer 40's. Were the brakes, hubs, bearings, R&P, tie rods, or balljoints designed to handle 40's? Absolutely not. They are the same design (except tie rod length), as every other F-150.
Looks to me like most of those suspension parts have been replaced. Just saying.

Here are some after pics. I am super pleased with the results. Most noticeable change is the rear axle being still. Major improvement on wheel hop and axle wrap. Very welcome change. My high pressure fuel pump is on back order so for now running a mild Goose Tune.

Interesting to see the beauty ring Methods(from what i see). On a build like this will they hold up to the abuse? I remember seeing something about them being on the weaker side.
