18 key fob for 17

Yea didn't you know it's very common to show other people your key fob so they know you have a Raptor?

And if you only have the '17 fob no one will really know and you have to say "This is the fob for my Raptor"

I own two Raptors, a Viper, a Jeep Wrangler and a Cadillac XT5 (wifes), and I have never felt a need to show other people what I drive. In fact, when they handed me my Gen 2 key fobs, I asked if there was something smaller since I do not like how big they are compared to my Gen 1 fobs.

As I said previously, if you like, go for it, but I will spend my money on real upgrades for my truck...

I've found a few of these keys new, but I am being told that the FCC ID must match. So far, I've not found an FCC ID match, but definitely would like to purchase one. Anyone have any ideas?

You can buy a fob from your dealer. I did because I wanted a third fob for when one gets lost. It was super easy to program.

You have an 800 or 801? The Raptor key only comes on 802 as far as I know

I went ahead and ordered the newer fob after doing some more research. I do not believe the FCC ID has to match, so I've ordered the fob and had the emergency key cut by a locksmith on eBay. I'll let you know once I receive it and program.
