GEN 2 17-18 OEM beadlock ring question

Got my take off 2018 OEM beadlocks to put on my 2019. Before I take them to the tire shop is it best to remove the beauty ring so they don't get damaged by the tire machine? Or overkill?

I work in that field and would strongly recommend taking them off. The tire tech is gonna gun them back on!

Yes, they HAVE to be removed to mount/dis-mount a tire and would not trust the kid behind the air gun not to F... it up...

100% AGREE. I let the tire shop do the work on my GEN1 2014 and they screwed 4 of the screws up bad enough to require drilling and retapping

2nd that! I installed mine at work and did not remove the beauty ring. But if you’re taking it to a tire shop I’d take them off just to be safe.
