as everyone said after me. same thing. dont do it unless your street queenin. 0 offset is your best and safest bet unless you have spare wheel hubs and cv shafts laying around.
i had -1 rims and i had problems now i got -6 mm rims and still have problems.. but mostly all sorted it out. if you wanna change 4 wheel hubs and 4 cv shafts like me in a time period less than a year go for it.
You have to be on top perch to stop the rubbing. Then that increases the shock preload and the truck rides like shit. Being on top perch also causes issues with cv boots..
Do what you want.. We have answered your question from our experience. -12 mm is a no go!
