I’m generally optimistic but I don’t put a lot of stock in this. Basically believe it when my truck shows up. In the meantime, made the first payment on my raptor I don’t have in my possession. So that was fun
How is this even possible.. or legalI’m generally optimistic but I don’t put a lot of stock in this. Basically believe it when my truck shows up. In the meantime, made the first payment on my raptor I don’t have in my possession. So that was fun
well, I sold my Raptor I had once my new one went into production, assuming 3 weeks or so for delivery. Sold through the dealer to get the tax credit and then at the same time they did the transaction on the new Raptor...in hindsight, should've waited until the truck was here but assumed a few weeks wouldn't be the worst thing. FMLWth? Why would you be paying for something you don't have?
My tracker still has etaEnd of 12/4, so we'll see if that holds true
Assuming you actually take possession of the truck, it isn't the worst thing in the world. You will be closer to paying it off and the value is going to hold. I would still rather have no car payment than a payment for a vehicle I have never seen, though.well, I sold my Raptor I had once my new one went into production, assuming 3 weeks or so for delivery. Well my update is this I looked at the computer screen when my guy pulled it up. Primary status produced.secondary at plant eta is still 12/16 still microchip on hold pending update. So for the most part my takeaway and his was went from tbd to at least a date. Is a good sign. He seems to think same as us that they jockeying them around as they pull them out of the lot to go back to the plant to be completed. They are probably using this week and next week to do this while running a limited number of 2022’s to try to get the 2021 out. We know there are some guys with build dates for next week but still they wouldn’t ship for a few weeks anyway even if built. So we may get ours right before the 2022 ship. Here is to hoping.Well i am headed to the dealer this afternoon o have the oil changed in my other car so i will see if they have a little more info and let you guys know
update. dealer no
update: dealer confirmed off chip hold and back to plant. states delivery 12/10 with end date of 12/16
Lol sales who? I'm not surprised they keep mentioning that at the end of every conversation now. We started talking to them what, end of July or August? They've been taking these Raptor calls 100x a day for the past 5 or so months. But hopefully all that stuff is accurate! You'd be only 2 weeks away from delivery.Per FP
"well...There is some news. I am just not sure how accurate this is.
It shows last updated on 11/28, it shows as "in production / produced" and the ETA has been changed to "12/10 - 12/16 Pending Update"
For me it is nice seeing a sooner delivery eta then the 12/25 -12/31, but since it still says "Pending Update" it does not make me feel too confident.
I would have you double check with your sales person."
