Just wondering if anyone with headers has made a run down the 1/4 mile and what times were recorded?

I've got a 5 star tune and intake with kooks LT's. I'm thinking it should be solid 14s but what did you get? (supercab)

I need some numbers for my mall crawling adventures.

I ran very low 15's with mine with an afe intake and tune that I literally installled 5min before I went to the track. Pretty sure I would be high 14's now with the updated tune I have now

with our tune, airaid intake, and full SW system, I had went a best of 15.1

usually i'm slightly deep in staging though.

I think the truck would go a 14, but in the brackets, consistency is more important

my truck also has heavier front and rear bumpers, and tonneau cover as well

I have read you can control wheel hop better if you use 4 wheel hi. I just have a hard time believing that wouldn't hurt your drive train in the long run. Do any you have advice on how to set up and run a quarter mile? Staging, etc...?

your going to suck up more power using 4wd, it won't hurt anything, it's not like your doing 150 in the 1/4

4wd, you shouldn't get any hop.

your other option is just locking the rear wheels. Flashing the converter off idle, you will almost certainly get wheel / spin or a combo of both

At good tracks, i had alot of luck with doing 2wd with the locker, and putting the car up on the converter, so it didn't hit the tires too hard, no problem with spin or hop that way

heres a track vid
