‘21 or ‘22?

I have a ‘22 stock order coming in at the end of the month. I have also been in contact with a dealer for a ‘21. They are similarly equipped, the ‘22 having a couple options I don’t care for and the ‘21 having graphics package, which I also don’t care for. Dealer with the ‘21 is offering slightly better trade for my truck. Which one would you go with, and why?

Take the 21! I was in the same situation and am glad I took the 21. Ordered the R button and will activate it through forscan. Also, I’m happy I got the interior lighting and digital temp gauges.

I would go for the 2022 simply for resale value since it's one model year newer.

Year doesn’t affect the resale like you’d think. It’s mileage driven.

I think you’re right about the ‘21s having better value. And if you can add the R button afterward there’s no point in getting a ‘22 over a ‘21. Thanks for the input!

I’d go for the 21! At least that’s what I did when pondering this same dilemma. The cost cutting on the 22 made my decision easier.
