Not exactly sure where this goes, so if it's in the wrong place please let me know/move it.

Found a listing on Craigslist for a full set of 2.5's with 15k miles on them, they appear to be in excellent condition. Guy is asking only 700 for all four which seems to be a good deal. Should I be skeptical?... My truck has 53k and for 700 i might as well replace the old shocks... Don't want to spend the 4k+ on new 3.0's all over.

Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks !

That's a very good price. I paid $750. Usually go for 1-1.5k. I would plan on rebuilding them before install. If they were run hard they would be due for rebuild at 20k (ish). Having someone rebuild it for you will run $500-700.

If you care, you can verify they are screw or scab by the part number; screw will have "VA" on the end of pn# and scab will "SA".
