Wasn't it keatonskidmore that did the same thing? Actually one of the employees at his family's body shop if I remember right?

Sorry to hear that! Really sucks!

I almost did that to one of my cars, years ago while working on the door in a tight garage...I needed more room so I was backing out, with the door open, and barely caught the tragedy right before it happened...The door was about 1/2" from the garage door frame, and being crunched terrily!! Caught it at the very last second...

It'll be whole again when the shops does its thing!! Good luck!

I did the same thing once backing my travel trailer in to my storage spot (with other trailers all around it. Thankfully, I was able to jump back in the driver's seat and hit the brake before impacting anything with the truck or trailer.

Good luck on your repairs.

Did this to a brand new 1979 150 after 3 days. Hopped in to move her out of the way of one of my other trucks at a job and boom hit a stop sign looking the wrong way.
I was sick for a month.

The few days it shit down snow a lot up here I gave up shovelling my driveway and it formed a crown where I kept taking the same tracks into my garage… Well the one day i slid off that crown as my front end entered the garage and almost slid into the door frame, at least under an inch of room to spare from the door frame to my front passenger fender… Little to say i was lucky with that and it was fun wiggling the bitch in (double garage but two doors) cause i was sinking backing up.
