Please inform me on how to disable the exterior lights when a door is opened. I've conquered the door chime with the key in, now I would like to be able to open a door and not have the parking and clearance lights come on. Respectfully N.A.G. IV

I have to have taillights. I just don't want them coming on when a door gets opened. So cutting the wires is not an option.

When any door is opened all of the exterior lights come on, with the exception of the high and low beams. Parking lights, clearance lights, courtesy lights, etc. I would appreciate info on how to bypass/override this Christmas tree effect. ---------- Post added at 10:36 PM ---------- Previous...

Could someone tell me how I can open any door and NOT have any exterior lights come on? i.e. (clearance lights, taillights, etc.)

I would love to know how to open a door and not have any exterior lights come on. I have successfully disabled the door chime with the key in the ignition. 2013 terrain.
