Nope, peak torque occurs at a much lower, in this case, than peak power. At peak power the 24 will be making more torque than the 23. Only at 5252 rpm does hp and torque equal each other.
Welcome, in my family I have the heavy tow vehicle and my wife gets a Raptor. She is on her 3rd, one of each generation, the last being an R. I still get to drive whenever we travel together.
This is not what I was expecting, it’s even better. Here is the wired keypad for a Bronco Sport I mentioned yesterday. It was installed today as an add-on to our “bar car.”
There are two listed by Ford that I know of. A wireless one that simply mimics a key fob and can be mounted nearly anywhere with 3M tape. There is also a wired keypad that requires drilling and configuration with the BCM. We are having the wired one installed in our “bar car” ‘24 Bronco Sport...
Nice truck, we’ve had all three generations as well. Nice touch with the decal delete and leaving Raptor, looks very nice in green. My wife just bought an R the same color and we love it. The dealer ordered it full graphics delete, kinda miss the Raptor name.
Nice truck! Welcome to the Raptor family from 800 miles north of you. We also had a shelter green cousin of your truck follow us home recently. After looking at all the color options in person, that green was our choice.
The dealership we do business with had a Shelter green R just arrive. We looked at it thought was OK, it was a rare sunny day in December in the PNW. With that in mind we looked at all the colors available in the Raptor as the dealer has tons of trucks. After looking closely and afar at all...
My wife’s R has been averaging 11.7, a bit more with me, a bit less when she drives it. Still too new to know for sure but it’s on track to get 2 mpg less than the 3.5 Gen 2 it replaces, not too bad in my book.
I took my wife for a ride to look at an R, she had no knowledge of them. She had owned a gen 1 and a Roush upfitted Gen 2 was her current vehicle. It took less then 3 minutes of driving and she says I’ll take this truck.
New to the Forum but my wife and I have had all three generations of Raptor here in the PNW. She just got a ‘24 R about 3 weeks back. We live in Snohomish WA, love to hear about local adventures.
F450 Platinum is my “car” but I sometimes get to drive Jane’s R. My toy is a RR Cullinan Black Badge.
I can’t imagine cold would make the smell worse but it might prolong the cooking off of the hot surface contamination that I attribute to the smell.
