Thanks for the replies. I’m going to call Method this week and see if I can get anything out of them.
Worst case I could bring them to a polisher, they would make a good project only real pain is taking all the tires off and on
I did not coat them or wax them at all. I didn’t realize I had to. Flame all you want I just figured they had a clear coat or finish to some degree of protection.
Can someone explain to me why I have lost the finish on 3 year old wheels that never see salt or the winter roads. I don’t use any chemicals to clean the wheels or anything and don’t even drive the truck much. I’m assuming it’s the clear coat but what could cause this to happen ? All four wheels...
Wow that is incredible, congratulations. I am sure you were just waiting for the day to come. What are your plans for it? If that were me I would just leave it stock.
^^^^What he says. If the battery is indeed dying and only a couple years old depending on where you bought it maybe it's still under warranty. I've had problems with a previous red top too, it was about as old and was warrantied.
Very sorry to see what happened to your truck ! I am always afraid of shit like this. Hey whatever the damage is I am sure it could have been worse and can be fixed ! So fix it. She's worth it
Knocking the dust off it, I’ve bumped older
I will take some measurements and see how they lay out on the 35. It looks like the glue bottles have hardened in storage so this might be more of a freebie for someone who wants them. I’ll check tomorrow
Congrats that truck is incredible. I got the build info from SVT on my 2013 and there weren’t many blue flame scabs built. I wonder what it is for 2010. Enjoy your awesome truck,
I’ve always considered the rear slider as one of the coolest features on my scab and totally adjustable for just the right amount of flow through ventilation. I have an open box and sometimes I’ll forget the accumulation of small leaves and plant matter back there and I’ll flood the cabin with...
Those license plate frames are the legit OG brass ones and someone will surely snatch them up. Even though I’ve wasted more money on much stupider things I wish I could but I can’t justify that now.
Since some of us are reminiscing I’ll add that I miss my Terminator ! The Cobra was a down...
Fluidfilm the rockers and selectively on sheet metal under the truck. They sell a flexible nozzle extension that gets you inside the body panel too. Amsoil HDMP everywhere else and especially on finished metal such as the shocks etc.
