Storage for the winter, I log a TON of miles in the winter for hockey and didn't want road salt to destroy the CF or worse a fender bender. On the plus side, I've gotten very efficient at installing and removing fenders on these trucks!
Probably the last 2024 project for me. Decided to “carbonize” my factory hood vent with the Jogon kit. It’s 3 pieces (main vent and side wings). Install (how to video) was a breeze and like all the other Jogon crap I’ve used, fitment was perfect.
Figured this was probably the right forum to post feedback on the FLATED Air-Topper in for those considering this along with other options.
If you are looking for a removable cap for your truck go for it! Compared to the soft topper I had on my last truck, this thing is so much easier to...
Installed a Flated Air-topper on the Raptor this week. Safe to say, the kids dig it.
Install was super easy, took me about 30 minutes. I outsourced some of the manual inflation to my oldest (the one on top).
The kits from F150LEDs, here's my video showing the install (Waterfowler 41 Ambient Lighting Install). Once you get the kit untangled, its pretty easy to get everything in place. Long part of the project is hiding the wires.
Thanks, they are SRP Pedals. I was back and forth between silver and...
Kids wanted interior lights like I had in my Ram so I threw the f150leds kit in my truck. I’m not a huge fan of the OEM teal and pretty dang happy with how this kit turned out.
I had to replace the plastic caps. One flew off but the new design uses a screw to hold the panel in. I heard the original caps weren’t great and I can see why, the pressure clips fail after a while.
It was a quick call to RealTruck and they sent out a few replacement caps within 2/3 days I...
Most can probably figure this out within minutes of looking at the mirror but for those that was to know EXACTLY how to remove the puddle lamps, here you go. Only tool needed is a smaller flat head and patience so you don't break the pressure clip on the light.
Honestly, I would just remove the hood so you can get access to the vent and avoid leaning over your truck and scratching the fenders. A bit more work but there’s double stick tape on your factory vent and yours going to need to work at it to remove it. Easier to do with the hood off the truck.
I installed Ruff Tuff covers in my truck. Absolutely love the durability. I regularly throw my 90 lbs lab into the back seat. Without the covers my seats would be destroyed but the Ruff Tuff's have held up well.
Add me to the list. I reused the factory hardware. Easier to torque things down with those tab bolts.
I’m dropping a video on my channel covering the install. Super easy, only had to use a jack to let me line up the front bolts a tad better when installing the RPG’s.. Probably could’ve hit it...
I am extremely happy with the stepth kit. I listen to a whole bunch of different music, from country to rap and everything in between as well as a TON of podcasts. The dual 6.5's are crazy efficient for their relatively small footprint and not overly boomy which is nice for podcasts. Your...
FINALLY had a break in our hockey schedules to install the Sounds Good Stereo stealth subwoofer kit. This is a direct swap for the factory subwoofer. I dropped an install video in the How To section for those considering this kit.
Overall I’m glad I pulled the trigger sooner than later on the...
Finally got around to upgrading the subwoofer in my 2023 Raptor with the Sounds Good Stealth kit. This kit came with everything you need to replace your factory subwoofer in the B&O system with a dual ported 6.5" sub box. The box and amp bracket fit perfectly in the truck. Even down the...
Yep, they can see how many times the ECM's been reflashed which should line up with their records since technically they should be the only ones accessing the ECM. This is assuming they want to dig deep enough.
My opinion, Ford wouldn't put their name all over a tune that runs even the...
I noticed this too.
You know, if they’d just ask us for our opinion BEFORE going prime time with the calibration they could’ve saved some grief.
I hope they’re going back to the drawing board but I’d guess there’s a lot of red tape internally and externally to re-push a tune.
Yeah I believe it’s the dura material. My dogs put it through its paces already. He dropped a treat last weekend and was “digging” into the seat crevice. Cover did its job.
Sometimes I wish I went with black but then I see how much he drools and know camo was the better options so these don’t...
