I'm looking to add on the power folding mirrors, since I'm tired of banging my mirrors on trees each time I go off-roading. I've read the procedure for running the wires in a 2010, and it all makes sense.
But I'm not exactly sure how to add new wires through the door harness. Specifically, I...
Almost like these? Or could I get by with the even cheaper, black tubing? LOL

I have a 2010 5.4 L, and I think I might need to replace the vacuum tubes. (I'm hearing the grinding from one front wheel and banging from the other.) The truck originally came with vacuum hose assembly with part number AL3Z-7A785-E , but it has been discontinued. I can get my hands on a...
I'm really new to all this, but I'm having a similar but less violent issue. Could it be that the IWEs aren't properly engaging and disengaging even with the right amount of vacuum just because they (or something connecting to them) needs to be lubricated?
I largely use Linux at home because it's free and runs better on my ancient equipment. Since most of what I do at home computer-wise is paying bills or interfacing with my ham radios, I've never upgraded from my lower-tier desktop and laptop from 2011. That lets me spend more money on trucks and...
OK, an update for anybody who might be interested.
I was able to use ForScan Lite on my AutoTechPro console in the truck. It showed a DTC of P1841 on the TCCM.
The service manual sent me to T27 and then T28:
In my case, neither helped, but I didn't want to order a new TCCM. Since I...
Thanks. I've debated trying ForScan, but I believe it only with with Windows, right? I don't currently have that at home. I need to figure that part out, but I might just have to resort to a VM or something on a Linux box.
I think I could have more clearly communicated what I was saying. So...
The Mode Selector Switch is hardwired to the TCCM, so it's not like there's multiple modules involved in this problem, I don't think. And since there's the message that gets displayed on the screen when selecting 4L or 4H, I'm thinking that the switch itself is fine. Maybe it's just a matter of...
Part of me wonders if it's the power constantly being supplied to the solenoid... The way the controllers seem to work, they use transistors to bridge the gap between controller I/O and the powered connections. It's not shown in this wiring diagram, but maybe there's a FET inside the TCCM that's...
Does anybody have trouble-shooting suggestions for this with my 2010 5.4 L?
Flipping the knob into 4L or 4H results in a "CHECK 4x4" message displaying in the IC, but no other indicator lights illuminated. Torque doesn't show any DTCs. There's no grinding sounds. The transfer-case motor is new...
These are definitely some of them. Actual pictures of them. It's not like I asked permission, didn't get a response, and just went to /hm/ for pics of dudes that resemble me.
Thanks for all the help!
I feel obligated to mention that I was conceived by a ***** donor, and I have thirty genetic half-siblings, several of whom are hot af.
I'm needing new tires on my 2010. It currently has BFG KO2's on it - 315/70R17 E. A friend of mine pointed out that his F-250 tires (265/7OR17) only cost half mine and are still good for the 1% of the time he's truly off-road. l'm pretty new to Raptors, and this is a very early I model have...
