My raptor did not exhibit much if any clunking sounds, it was all looseness and cavitation over small road cracks, ripples, any voids in the road. the suspension would just feel really loose and vibrate from the shocks. Fox makes great products, but I suspect that supply chain and poor quality...

I made the senior/ expert tech at my dealer drive my truck and a new '23 and he immediately said "what do you want to do?" I think many of the early shocks were defective or of "pandemic build quality". Don't these apprehensive dealers want the shop hours for warranty work, no?
