I'm still very convinced it's not in my head.
I am good friends with the service manager at the local dealership and got this text from him yesterday:
"I spoke with my foreman. He hasn’t heard of any concerns specifically and he is very active on fords internal forums.
He did say the new gen...
I "helped" a buddy turn on DRL's and fogs on his 2024 Raptor back in August. I had him take photos of his as-built data BEFORE I made those changes. He now wants the fogs turned off, but of course deleted those photos of his original values. I know I can grab his entire as-built data online, but...
Exactly how mine feels right now! I wasn't aware of any update either.
I drove around a good amount today and it's absolutely not in my head. I never once thought about the brakes on this truck the past year and a half. I am thinking about them just about every time I brake now. Something...
Interesting. Yeah, thinking back, I'm guessing I first noticed it around then. I drove around a ton today and I think it's most pronounced under 5MPH coming to a stop, but I definitely notice it to some degree at all times.
This is going to sound completely insane, but is it at all possible my truck is braking harder than it used to due to an update? It's a 2023 with 26k miles on it that I bought new. I'm pretty in tune with how it drives. Lately, maybe the past week or so, I swear it's stopping harder than it used...
Yes.
You need to reinstall them, grab their as-built data properly and then load that data onto the new parts that aren't working at the moment. There is no shortcut around this.
On the plus side, It shouldn't take them more than an hour to do that since you are familiar with the process of...
My heated wheel has been working fine since November, but I just recently decided to change the from it never shutting off to a different timed interval. I have tried 30 minutes and now 15 minutes. The wheel just seems to be stuck on infinite. Is there another setting in the SCCM or elsewhere...
My 2023 has 13k on it. Friday night after a 250 mile trip, I was really moving up an empty wide snow/gravel covered road. After a few miles of this, I came to a stop, switched it to sport mode and then a CEL came on and I got an "Exhaust mode selection not available" message. I was without...
I just feel bad seeing a price like that knowing exactly what is involved doing the install.
I get it though, you can't really put a price on the warm hands! Happy you are up an running
There is a TSB for it.

It did it on my 23 as well. I just bought the kit and did it myself. it took a few...
hmm. I really don't remember what bit worked. I'm away for the weekend and the truck is currently getting pummeled with snow, so it may be a few days before I crawl under it. Maybe message SPV directly. they would certainly know
sorry
Yup. I made a post about them a while back. Super easy install and great vendors worth supporting. Like Bigworm said, they are bright!

Is the 2023 diff cover different than the 2021-2022?
No site seems to show this part (FRPM-4033-F975) working on my 2023, but if I enter a 2022 it says it fits. Has the system just not caught up to the 23 yet, or is there a difference?
Thanks! Yeah, I go with my kids about every other weekend.
I had the box from another car and was more looking for an excuse to use it again than it being an actual need. I also figured I'd like the looks of it, so that was half my reasoning as well :)
Thanks! I bought it used last fall when depreciation had finally/thankfully attacked the bike market. It could have easily passed for having never been ridden. All of it is way overkill for the trail riding I do with my kids, but I do really enjoy it.
Do you (or they) have access to your original HVAC and SCCM? If so, reinstall them, grab their as-built data properly and then load that data onto the new parts that aren't working at the moment.
It shouldn't take them more than an hour to do that.
