How much brighter are these than factory?? I have a fender light with some moisture i want to replace before it has issues. Been weighing these against factory ones.
It's a little "louder" than before. I'm guessing that is from the pre axle dump. No drone that I could distinguish anywhere in the rpm/mph range on the freeway. Before buying i have read the non Helmholtz mufflers had a pretty bad drone, so I think I'm safe.
Added some more switches this weekend. Got a killer deal on an sPod BantamX set up for a Jeep Wrangler. I've seen guys mount them on top of the fuse box behind the battery. I felt like it would get in the way, so I modified the bracket to mount on the firewall where I see some catch cans. While...
Some day I'll make one of these runs, looks like an amazing time. Good on you and the GF for adopting the lost pup!!! There's a special place for those who help out an animal in need, BRAVO!!!!
Had the same problem when I bought mine. I went to Vatozone and picked up some black door edge trim. Cut it to length and put it over the edge the tray sits in.
I can post pics in the am.

Rolled up tight they're pretty quiet, I wouldn't say they're completely silent. Big bumps will kinda rattle them, but nothing I would call annoying. Hopefully I helped.

Started my sub install yesterday. Came across someone selling a fox accoustics f150 box for $100 a while back. Thought why not. Now I'm down the car audio rabbit hole lol!!!
Built a panel out of UHMW to mount the amp and next comes the fun part. Wiring lol!!!
Some people like loud and some don't. At the end of the day, you're the one who has to live with it. We'll, your neighbors do too. If you have them lol!!!
Personally I have modified almost every vehicle's exhaust I've owned. Just can't leave anything alone.
