Look for a little clamp towards the driver’s side of where the drive shaft meets the transmission. If that’s it, I popped mine off. Doesn’t seem to have a purpose. Let me know what you learn. Mine is a Raptor R, so not sure if this is the same for the Raptor. It just rattles…
I picked up my 2024 R two weeks ago and my buddy received his as well last week. Mine is Carbonized Gray and my buddy’s in Avalanche Gray. We both ordered ours. Not seeing any on the lots. Tough find. I traded my 2023 R to Bill Utter Ford. Maybe it’s there on the lot? Denton, TX. It’s silver...
I had a 2013 without graphics and I then bought a 2021 with graphics and now I’m on my second 2023 Raptor R without. I recently ordered the 2024 R and opted to go without the graphics. Kinda gives that “sleeper” factor!
For what it’s worth I had the same issue. Ford said it’s been happening while on long trips. Essentially, the coil is freezing up. They replaced the coil on some, not one mine as Ford engineers continue to explore. My second Raptor R. Disappointing as it’s now been in the shop for a week!
Because of all the controversy around true bead lock rings being street legal, I’m curious if anyone knows whether you can buy “non-functioning” bead lock rings that are silver for my Raptor R vs the black beauty rings from the factory.
I traded my 2021 37PP for the Raptor R in Jan with 20k miles and got $80k. I tried for $90k at the time via AutoTrader and didn’t get any traction. I’m considering listing my Raptor R with 5k miles and not sure what price to list that for if anyone has some advice.
