2024 Heated Steering Wheel Works Poorly

Hey RaptorFun- Looks like @hamster is the Forscan guru you were looking for! I just saw his awesome post with the details you need for your heated steering wheel. Just in case you have not seen it yet. I think it is post #1180...

2024 Heated Steering Wheel Works Poorly

Hey RaptorFun- You are on the right track. I would wait on the sidelines just like you said, until some guru knows exactly how to configure that properly. It seems like Ford made some pretty large modifications to the locations of certain modules, etc. for the new 24MY trucks! In the meantime...

2024 Heated Steering Wheel Works Poorly

Hey RaptorFun- I tried to get some info for you. Looks like for the 2024 MY, Ford moved the adjustment to a new module called SECM-7C5 (Steering Effort Control Module). Here is a link to a spreadsheet that looks like the correct info for your rig. I will try to link you to the exact spot in...

Sounds good! It should be interesting to see how they had it set-up (temperature wise).

2024 Heated Steering Wheel Works Poorly

Hey cog099- I had this same issue on my Super Duty, and my Raptor. I went into the SCCM (steering column control module) in Forscan and tweaked some digits and it worked for me. I cranked er’ up to 100° to give it a try. It’s TOASTY when its freezing! I won’t have a rig without it anymore. I...

    Rock Sliders/Running Board Dressing?

I like that SC1! About 10 years ago, I randomly picked some SC1 at Cycle Gear - figured I’d try it… WOW. It’s like Frank’s Red Hot - I put that sh*t on everything. Now i get it on Amazon 6 cans at a time. The Adam’s is on clearance for some reason right now at AutoZone for $9 a can. I was...

Thank you! I called them yesterday. They have excellent customer service. Much appreciated

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Wow! STURDY::::: Those are SO nice. Those are the tops that I liked - I think it is on their website as “full dimpled top”. Did you order them with their powder, or raw? Do you remember which tubing thickness you went with? Was the 4-6 week lead time pretty accurate? Your truck is on-point...

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

That would be great. Those are so nice! Can’t wait to see your photos. I went to their website and it looks like they have a few different options for the tops. I was pretty surprised when I saw the weight of those bad boys. Looking forward to checking yours out!

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Thanks Cecil- I just put them back on yesterday, so I will let you know what I think after I use them. The White Knuckle sliders that raptorsub mentioned above look like a serious upgrade! I went to their website - they are 115 lbs. each - serious piece of kit there!

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Hey raptorsub- Thanks man. I couldn’t find any photos of your sliders, but I went to their website and those look like beasts! - I really like those! Those are awesome, and I like how they are longer in the back if you need to grab something out of the back of your truck that could help. Did...

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Hey guys, Just wanted to show you what I finished in case any of you guys have the same problems that I had with the finish on the OEM Ford raptor side steps that are starting to degrade/lose adhesion around the edges. I had a small spot below the drivers door on the very lower edge that was...

SPD Turbo Adapter install the easy way (video)

Just wanted to thank you for your detailed video! I just finished installing my AMS turbo adapters using your method. Easy! I picked up the stud remover from Oreillys, and hit all of the fasteners with Free-All twice over 2 days. I didn’t need any heat. All 4 studs came right out. I used the...
