In my 23 I've added the heated steering wheel, ambient lighting in the center console, glove box, lower door cards, and cup holder. I was excited for the 25, but after seeing the interior, I am hanging on to the 23.
My apologies, I meant to say my radio stays on after I open the door with the truck off. After I close the door I can hear the music stop eventually. I will edit my original post
I too purchased the FP tune, I have a 23 and wasn't interested in the Whipple kit. Personally I didn't think 98% of the transmission shifts were bad before the tune but its a noticeable upgrade, I really like it. For me the power seems to come on much quicker with less pedal input. The...
You need a high quality music source such as an I tunes. People bitch about the sound system all the time but when the music comes from the right source I have zero complaints.
Total agree. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if they bumped the power another 100hp moving forward. I have a 23 so aftermarket tuning is very limited. If Ford was smart they would offer tuning in house and double dip us all.
One item I missed in the early renderings of the facelift is the amount of silver on the bumper. I am not understanding why they decided to make the entire center portion of the bumper in silver. Other that that I like it.
That's a smoking deal! Yes you can leave the side rails in place and remove just the cover. There is an install video on RealTruck.com and that should answer all of you questions. Speaking of all of this, can someone measure their side rails? I am having a warranty issue and I think mine are...
You can remove the cover with 4 wing nuts(or hand nuts) that are supplied and hold the cover to the side rails. Pretty easy but not something I would want to do regularly.
Ive had my retrofit done for 5 months now, what did you all select for the temp of the wheel? I think I selected 5 but this morning I was craving a little more heat because it was 12 degrees out.
Mine didn't, never had an issue and traded with 38k. It was a 2020 with a 6.2....oh and my HVAC worked EVERY SINGLE TIME. With that said, every brand has quirks. I might have gotten lucky on the GMC but the Raptor is still fun.
I live in northern New England for reference. Our yearly low can be well into the negative temperatures and close to or over 100 as a high so we experiences the worst on both ends. For heating, I too notice some very hot air coming out at times when I feel the cabin is up to temp. I always...
^This, what a waste having quiet mode when it doesn't work on remote starts. I live in Northern New England and my neighbors are going to hate me this winter.
