It is still there. Only happens on hot days above 90 degrees F. Cooler days there’s a pop noise when depressing the brake to start the vehicle but that’s it. I believe it has something to do with the adjustable pedals. If I adjust the pedals while pressing the brake hard, sound will disappear...
Anyone ever dealt with this? Mines clicking like crazy today. It’s above 95 degrees out for what it’s worth. There’s a metallic click when the brake pedal is depressed, let’s say 75%. The brake booster noise has been there since day one. This metallic click hasn’t. It’s definitely coming from...
My 23 does the same thing. Sometimes all interior lighting turn off simultaneously. On occasion those rear ambient lights stay on for over 10 min. Not sure what triggers this a year and a half later.
Mine has done the same thing since the latest update that rolled out. It will then revert to either car play or the last played audio source. Sometimes it takes a few min if the vehicle has been off for several hours.
Not sure why I didn’t get any notifications! Anyways, the sound went away on its own after about 7k miles. At 13k currently and the noise has subsided. Ive have had a couple tire rotations since then and a significant change in weather/season. From what I’ve looked up, the center caps of the...
I’ve gotten this once in awhile but it’s usually after letting the vehicle sit for 15 or so minutes after a long trip. Once I fire it up I’ll get pulsating vibration at idle until I start driving again. Once I’ve driven a few feet it will not have this pulsating effect at idle anymore.
I’m at the dealer for an oil change. Just looked at 2 new 23’s on the lot and they have the same unused Christmas tree clips just like your pic. Looks to be normal.
Just as others have said, that’s your transmission at work. Google ‘torque converter lockup’ and you’ll get a ton of info regarding this and how torque converter auto transmissions function.
After you remove the front diff you should lower your raptor too. It handles so much better in the twisties and it’s a lot easier to grab your latte and scone at the drive through window. I’m surprised it doesn’t come this way from the factory.
Not sure if this helps anyones situation but auto mode when heating only uses the floor and defroster vents. I’m fairly certain the AC compressor will not even operate when under 32 degrees F in auto mode, by design.
Can’t wait! The thud is always a fun time. Keeps you guessing if you left something from last night in the bed or if it’s just the transmission making itself known. Luckily I’ve only experienced it when it’s cold, coming to a stop. Hopefully Cobb puts the hammer down and gets that 23 tune rolled...
