Its still one of the most ponderous details in the F150 maintenance world. How the heck does the dealer get the temp up to 206-215? Hook it up to a 7000lb uhaul and drive it up a man made hill out back, let it idle for 2 hours, power brake it for 5 mins, do donuts in a field? lol Its...
I get companies have to package things to make production easier, but if they made all the 37 features a la carte, Id have grabbed 1-2 of them. There is no reason they couldn't have done a 35 and 37 R, other than to make a lot more money.
This is exactly what i would have ordered. Probably less ADM associated with a model like that too.
Ventilated seats are non negotiable though in south east Texas. The swamp ass is strong down here.
Sort of, until you add on the 9K+ option package to make it feature comparable to the 35 model. For some reason Ford got rid of the actual base Raptor.
It won't matter how many MPFs you get, each fart would be probably 150 bucks per fart. Synthetic unicorn farts using solar power, would be 700-800 per fart.
I ended up going with some +25 Methods, pushes the tires out a little but nearly stock. I've had rubbing issues on 3 other vehicles with bigger tires and I'm not going down that road again.
lol, in Houston during the months of June-October Im heat soaked just pulling outta the driveway. It’s always kinda amazed me how ineffective the stock intercooler is, I get some wild charge temps during the summer. Even going HWY speeds doesn’t do much. How much effect do those shutters have...
There are subtle differences every single year of Raptor production. I have yet to see a 24 Raptor….or maybe I have. Most of the functional differences between 23-24 are part of an option package(s). If all the changes were across the board, there might be an argument for it. There is no way...
Yeah not a giant hybrid fan, but these mild hybrids have sure made straight sixes more of a thing lately making packaging easier with electrifying the accessories. At least thats what Mercedes did.
They fixed the SCAB in 2016 …at least on the driver side…for the small overlap test. All SCAB gen 2s should have those fixes. The side impact though, B pillars are nice. The frame adjustments with the Raptors would be interesting to see if they make a crash test difference. I wonder how that...
If i remember right the SCAB was only very slightly lighter. That missing B pillar needed a lot of extra strengthening to keep it from totally failing the offset crash tests which it did initially.
Ill take a SCREW…
That test right there will never have me in a SCAB.
There is no reason ford would make the “skip 2 years” mistake again. All that did was make the initial 2017s insanely marked up and gen 1 resale values stay strong. None of those things makes ford money, selling 2 extra years of raptors does.
I know we all talk %*^& about Toyota on here, but I remember the older sequoias actually had 100lbs of paint on them. Don’t fact check me lol… sounds ridiculous ,but some old j a p SUVs had incredible paint.
