Thanks @GooseTuned for the maps.
Was running the Stage 2 Cobb tuning and the Goose maps are much, much better.
Truck is much faster, runs smoother, and the AFR is spot on now throughout the band. Very happy with it!!

3 week/2k mile road trip with the family, dog, and about 600lbs of crap
14.9mpg or about $800 in gas at $6.
Lots of good times
It's a really clean setup with the blend mount for both camera and radar.
The camera works well and is kind of a set and forget at this point. I did need to run an expansion battery to get a full days out of it which are both located under the passenger seat with velcro. To run the rear all the...
Electronics Update: Installed a BlackVue Camera with Battery System.
Camera: BlackVue DR750X-3CH Plus
Battery & Expansion Battery - This should give about 36h of runtime.
Mount: Aluminum Dashcam Mount for BlackVue
33' Rear Camera Cable
I wasn't really looking forward to this install for some...
Here's the build thread
Haven't and won't take it off but we got it on there with three of us. It does weigh about 175-200lbs so shackles were necessary to balance the truck out with the front Eibach springs
I canceled my Rivian, CyberTruck, and Gen3 Raptor reservations in favor of buying my current 2020.
Gen 1s are awesome.
Gen 2s make something great even better.
Gen 3s? Not quite enough for me personally.
Happy OP is happy.
How we spend our money and more importantly our time is our choice.
Many of us here are perfectly happy with our Raptors and hope the TRX makes you happy.
The new and used truck/car market right now is a hot dumpster fire.
I bought mine 12/21 and added the Ford warranty 6y/60,000 (up to 100k) for $4500 at the Ford dealer. There were two options, the same price. One serviced by Ford dealers only, and one (maybe Ally) serviced anywhere. My experience with the latter (on other vehicles not this one which is why I...
Starting off first with a big thanks to the team @OffroadAlliance.com for supplying this awesome product. Thank you!
There are a # of threads with questions, etc so I thought I'd start this to consolidate and provide some direct feedback.
Here goes and pretty straightforward:
Delivery: 4/5
It...
The stock one works fine but isn't as cool lol.
The TurboSmart BOV expels to the atmosphere and makes a sweet ass whoosh whenever you let off the gas, especially under load.
The new intakes, intercooler, piping, etc. doesn't mean it was required but its one of those while you're in there...
Update:
Just finished installing my canopy lighting project.
The RSI SmartCap is a serious piece of kit. It fits perfectly, mine doesn’t leak, and because it’s made of Stainless Steel means it’s also magnetic…this might be a first for this kind of setup but whatever.
Through a ton of trial and...
That isn't accurate at all and provides no value to anyone reading this.
25+ track and offroad events a year for the past decade. 1,000s of miles and laps = We see rubber brake lines fail multiple times in a season for various reasons across all brands. Lines expand, swell, bulge, get cut, and...
They don't just look cool, they work better in pretty much all aspects and applications.
Necessary? Maybe not but there is merit to their function and reliability.
If you've never boiled brake fluid over at the track or otherwise you might be hard to convince but this isn't an area that I...
The compression rate is the same through either source via CarPlay, the cord does not make a difference. This unit is p2p Wifi connected and only uses Bluetooth to make the initial connection. All other functions and transmission rates are the same as the cord.
The sound quality is the same...
Music Quality -
You’re not really going to get any better quality if using CarPlay or other streaming services with or without a cord. There is still compression.
Charging -
The Ankers used here at 7.5W via USB-C and powered by 15w converters actually charge much faster than a direct 5W USB-A...
The OEM brake lines should be fine. If you're already doing the calipers upgrading to SS is one of those "while you're in there" mods but might not be entirely necessary. My SS lines are stock length and should work for 1 to 3" lifts. Why you'd go at the top of that range or above that I don't know
I went with Eibachs upfront and Deaver +4HDs. The numbers are strange, let me try to explain as best to my knowledge.
Eibachs raise the front 1.75” to level with stock rear.
Deaver +4s raise the rear 1”. Will go down to stock level with about 500lbs of weight
The 2” shackles are a 1” drop to...
Third Brake Light Wiring
Since mine didn't come with a harness and if you have the trailer/brake system you really don't want to splice into the taillight nor trailer harness - had to locate the 3rd brake light wire.
Under the hood, next to the brake master there is a purple/red wire capped...
Alright
Bringing this back to center. The Alcon's have been super impressive and genuinely one of the best upgrades to the truck. SS Brake lines are still hard to come by and I got mine from SDHQ - took a while but they installed easily and matched up to the OEM mounts perfectly. Tie rods can...
