GEN 2 Ford GT oil in a Raptor

I have not watched the Banks video, so will not comment on it. But if you want to learn about oil, approvals and how things like HTHS, etc affect your engine head over to Bobistheoilguy.com. Some very very intelligent folks over there who are actual stakeholders in the petroleum game- ie folks...

    Air filter

My Cummins filters used to look like this, spots in certain areas. I can understand that in a diesel application and airbox geometry makes sense here, albeit at the expense of confidence in a robust design. My other TT applications do not look this way and those have been run far longer than 15K...

In my research while nothing is ever 'definitive' on here, I've had several members confirm it will work - unless you beat the sh*t out of your truck offroad. Bottom line: i'm confident. Now the spare...

    Gen 2 oil?

Ravenol RSP 5W-30; Texas heat, high performance engine (my twin turbo V8 BMWs that I hammered on the Autobhanen in Germany for 7+ years are all alive and well with me now, all require an HTHS >3.5- among other requirements-oil to obtain BMW LL-01, Mercedes 229.5, VW 505.0 approvals). Expensive...

Long time lurker first time joiner :)

Yang88she....thanks for confirming my COA. Def going to use KO2s due to size/weight. This is why this forum is the best forum of any I follow (I own BMWs and Harleys, and while each forum has its utility, FRF is a goldmine of verified info. )

thanks K223 and yes, def going to use the stock BLs. Currently reading a thread from late 2019 showing good results with just Eibachs and stock rear end. I'm no mall crawler (spend plenty of time in the Rockies) but also dont boulder crawl either. I think I will be ok given all the experiences...
