I'm finally going to tackle this project. I have the housing and ordered the led hide-aways (amber/amber). I plan to seal the housing completely, after tinting the lense. I have had issues with water in the brake light throwing codes. Thanks for the pics.
I'm shocked that no one has grabbed this. I have a Bedrug, which I love. Otherwise, I would take it.
I tried to give a way a liner and no one wanted it. Now I may cut it up.
I couldn't agree more. However, if you're ticketed in your driveway, I assume you would fight it. That means taking a day off from work, driving to the courthouse, and just a complete waste of time and money. It would make sense to just comply with the law than go thru all the Bullshit...
So, I just finished installing my front bumper. I welded additional plates/brackets for lights and one for the license plate bracket. I bought the Sto-N-Show bracket which I mounted on the center bracket. I then drilled a hole in the tube and threaded a hollow rod through it, which I then...
I have a question about wiring. The stroboflash bar I bought, has one cord which has power and ground, and a single wire as well. (not sure if it is the same type from the link, mine is curved) What is the additional single wire. Antenna for remote? Constant power for memory? I'm stumped...
I installed LED tail lights about 6 months ago and have been dealing with hyper flash ever since. Forscan takes a while to figure out but, it literally took 2 mins. to reprogram the BCM. No more hyper flash.
Congrats! I'm thinking about teaching my 15 year old daughter how to drive in mine. Imagine the look on the RMV guy's face when she pulls up in a Raptor for her road test.
I'm still very happy with the mod. It has saved my door from dings on many occasions, and didn't cost a dime. I wonder if the 2015+ trucks have better detent locations?
I believe one of my plastic plugs fell in and I was able to retrieve it through the same hole. It wasn't easy, small...
These are riveted, and yes there are airbags in the pillars. But, the holes are almost on the edge no where near the airbags. I would also be concerned about how strong the aluminum pillars are.
The wife thought we needed a better cooler for upcoming runs. She bought me this RTIC for X-mas. So, I installed some airline style tracks to hold all the gear down. Came out well, the track is the surface mount type, but I installed it where there's a recess in the bed. Once I tightened it...
Apparently, people want the trucks that dealership have in inventory, and are willing to pay more for them. I would just order one and wait the 4 or 5 months.
