The tuner is married to your truck still. The right thing to do was to leave it in the dash for the next owner, or unmarry the tuner from your truck and sell it separate. But currently, your cobb tuner is worthless as it is still married to your 2019 raptor vin.
Very easy to do. Just need to drop the intercooler and remove a few clamps around the intercooler hoses. Watch an aftermarket intercooler install for ford raptor. You'll see them remove and install the factory BOV. Curious why they would want you to go back to stock. As far as I know aftermarket...
Each generation is worth the price bump. Figure out a price point that works well for your budget, stick to it. Gen 2 to Gen 3 the big difference is 5 link in the rear vs leaf sprung on the gen 2. Also massive interior upgrade. It takes a bit of upgrading to get the gen 2 to ride like a stock...
I haven't had good luck from any of the Ford dealers in Las Vegas. They're all backed up with work and takes weeks to get anything done, let alone an appointment to bring it in. What's going on with your steering rack?
That blue one looks really good actually with 5 owners. Does carfax list any major repairs done to it? How about basic service records? Lastly, I would pay for a 3rd party inspection of the vehicle. Having no panoramic sunroof is bonus. Mine has broken twice already since i've owned my gen 2.
Easy process. Apply some heat to warm up the adhesive and peel the stickers off. Just be careful not to apply too much heat and damage your paint. Use a hairdryer or a heat gun mildly applied across the surface of the sticker. Don’t let it sit over one spot for more than a few seconds. Once...
42-46K range. Focus on finding the one with the best maintenance records. I'd worry about having to swap the cam phasers and a timing job between 100-150k. If you stay on top of maintenance and don't absolutely abuse it all the time, they're very reliable.
I think it's pretty simple... If you have the money to afford a Gen 3, it's the best stock raptor you can buy. You can get a used gen 2 for nearly half the price of a new gen 3 and have it be 90% of the truck the new Gen 3 is. The Gen 3 is a more refined experience when it comes to the motor/...
@Webb24 I mean the discount is nice, but lets be real. No one should be dealing with this ******** cam phaser issue stemming from a bad design. Ford chose to install said part, said part has design failure causing major issues to engine over time, said part should be replaced by Ford to newly...
You could sell it for 50-56k depending where you live. I had a gen 1 that I sold for a Lexus RX 350 when my son was born. About a year later I sold it for a Gen 2 and told myself I would never go without a truck again. The space in the F150 is a big plus. With a rear facing car seat my wife can...
Thanks @Bee for the write up. That's what I was going to do myself but ended up taking it to a different dealer since I was traveling all last week/ weekend. It has now been sitting in their back lot for 7 days and parts are on order to replace the wheel hub and IWE actuator. It's amazing how...
@dsiggi Was it the actual IWE hub actuator they replaced? Exact same thing happening on the driver side only. I'm probably going to buy a hand vacuum pump and diagnose it myself this evening. Was hoping it would just be the solenoid.
@Bee @FordTechOne I too have been to the dealer three times with this same thing. All three times unable to replicate. 4A does seem to eliminate the problem.
Had an owner of a Gen 1 I was in the process of buying private party tell me they want to do this at a dealership for the pass thru. It doesn't benefit the private seller at all as they are now applicable for paying sales tax. Hard pass and a waste of time for those looking for a private party...
