It doesn’t make sense on paper, it’s an emotional decision. To me it was completely worth the extra money. Every Gen 3 Raptor is just an awesome truck, I’d be stoked to have any of them, but the R is an absolute riot. Just feels and sounds more substantial and the power is a pure novelty.

The service interval is 100,000 miles or 160k km. You can do it earlier than that but definitely don’t think you need to do it by 50k.
Yea, I’m in SoCal too but have noticed on days I work from home and don’t start the truck until later in the morning, it doesn’t do it at all.
What’s next?
This is probably what it is unfortunately because when I listened to mine with a stethoscope it wasn’t coming from the pulleys or idlers, it was coming from where the oil fill cap is, right next to the phasers.
