Painted surfaces should be fine. I've seen reports of the paint chipping off of the Gen 3 flares, but if that happens the ceramic coating will go with it.

I spoke to the shop that did it. The owner is really nice. He told me to bring it in, and they’ll fix it or replace it. He said it looks like their polish. It must have gotten into the plastics.

I have some of those. They work great. Just concerned if the plastic is defective. Seems quite early to be happening.

For a vehicle under a year old, it’s suspect. I’ve never owned a car that did it that quickly, and I’ve even owned a Jeep. ;)

Older Uconnect systems are terrible. I played with a newer version, and it was decent. Sync is still my favorite so far.

Those definitely happen, but they're easy to work through. During the times I mentioned above, nothing would get them to connect. I toggled BT, toggled WIFI, restarted the truck, and restarted the phone. The only thing that works is unpairing and repairing them.
