I bought a set of factory 37" package beadlocks and tires off a Bronco Raptor and have been running them on my Gen 2 for over a year and a half with the 37" in the factory spare location. It touches the heat shield for the exhaust but doesn't cause any issues, I've had it in and out at least 3x...
My response above was to another poster that’s been too invested in me asking for help.
You’ve been candid with the products all along, we talked when I first received them because there were several tabs that broke that I was able to repair and make work, you offered to replace parts then and...
Since I’m sure you’re referring to me since we’ve been down this road before, I never asked for a refund nor expected one nor will I accept the one he offered.
He and I chatted privately, he gave me the info I needed on the original coating and how he would suggest getting it fixed.
Thank you!
Based on the responses I’ve gotten here it’s clear most people can’t/aren’t reading or understanding. I’m simply trying to get in touch with the guy. Several people over the last few months apparently have and he had indicated there were issues and he was going to have more parts...
He acknowledged issues with the mounting tabs, etc as well.
Entitled because I’m looking for a reply to a message from a guy that sold tens of thousands of dollars worth of parts he had manufactured to forum members? If his response was “there was an issue, we got it fixed, we have another...
Fair enough, I have no idea what he may or may not do, he’s just unresponsive. He’s indicated to others that he may do something about it so it would be silly not to inquire. Almost all of my pieces had broke mounting tabs or points, the mirror caps were the worst. Pealing started within 6...
Anyone heard anything from him lately? My hood vent’s clear is peeling in multiple places. I messaged him months ago and didn’t hear back. Since then, several others have posted about communicating with him.
I’m having the same issue on the hood vent and fender vents I got from him in the last group.
Mirrors were a PITA to install with the tabs but have held up great, I’d have thought I’d have issues there before the other two spots.
It was actually both initially. But once I was able to open the doors the first time that wasn’t an issue again, the latches stayed frozen on the back doors for nearly 3 days.
That’s definitely an interesting thought given this cold snap. I don’t recall feeling it before but my wife and son drove my truck this weekend in the city with lots of low speed tight turns and called and asked “what’s wrong with your truck?” I drove it the next morning and figured out what...
When turning FULL lock and at slow speeds (like in/out of parking spots) it feels like my tries are rubbing (they aren’t).
This is a fairly new issue and I can’t seem to come up with anything other than I’ve recently used 4a and 4hi several times.
It doesn’t feel like the bucking of turning a...
I've had them installed since late Spring, it made the perfect difference in my stance that I was looking for, it also dramatically improved the squat I have when towing my boat, I couldn't be happier.
That's what mine was previously, with white flares. I've been gathering parts to put regular flares back on and the side trim pieces on the bed. I just can't seem to reconcile white truck, grey trim, carbon vents, mirrors, hood vents.
I feel like it's a lot going on...
My white Raptor's roof was wrapped black when I bought it, I also have the panoramic roof. The wrap was 5 years old and not looking great so I removed it, I don't notice it being any cooler on the inside now that it's white up there. With the pano roof I think roof color is inconsequential...
You’ve verified that in person?
Because looking at the pictures of the two side by side for the rear flares, the mounting tabs appear to have identical spacing and configuration between the two.
