Any noticeable difference in temperatures? The cosmetic talks about matching flares are great but I’m hungry for some meat and potato data - what kind of delta between shutters vs no shutters are we seeing when it really matters - the summer? I believe under 110f there’s little benefit if I...
Just correcting the bad info in this post - Hammer isn’t a piggyback it is an actual flash calibration that is uploaded to your ECU. Once you flash the calibration you disconnect. No ECU removal required, which sold me. Highly recommend it
I’m not going to start a huge debate about someone else’s product/tune naming choice, but I hardly think the marketing is “super shady”. Quite the opposite actually.
If there’s a selling point for this tune over the others it’s not having to mail off the ECU - and being able to flash a stock...
I dont understand why this turned into an argument or a “call out session”. Why is it relevant what the tune is called? How it achieves its octane flexibility is the same as OEM, possibly even more sensitive - whats the harm done here?
As someone WHO ACTUALLY HAS THIS TUNE INSTALLED and paid...
Had the tune in for a couple weeks now, no issues and enjoying the truck especially the extra passing power. 0-60 is in the mid 4s range but the passing power is just immense.
Best mod for the money hands down.
Following up with a more thorough review - simply put, my 2022 on 35’s feels considerably more alive. I have a whipple IC and intake kit and in 45 degree weather I was seeing about 16psi boost at full throttle through the midrange on the stock calibration. After uploading the tune to the truck...
Another satisfied customer - I’ll write a full review tomorrow but this thing rips - 0-60 showing high 4s (camera footage on Speedo) and it shifts great - very easy process to install, no drama - truck is considerably quicker and feels like it shed 1000lbs… more to come
‘22 Oxford 35 inch here, just checking to see if anyone can post their charge air temps (via the dash readout)?? I installed a Whipple stock location intercooler over the winter months, and now I’m seeing charge air run 110 degrees in 85 degree weather when driving at 45-55mph, I’ve seen...
To be honest I was dreading pulling apart the dash IP and routing it through and under the center console etc but it ended up being way easier than expected - under 30 minutes turnkey. Mine plugs into the USB C in the center console hidden through various passages under the center trim...
Interesting find! I wonder if the raptor gets the same plug as the regular eco 3.5? They were different in years prior possibly heat ranges im not sure, part numbers were different I believe.
I guess the first 22+ gen3 guy to change plugs will have to let us know!
I’d try mine, but I wonder...
Curious if there’s a noticeable sound difference with a closed box setup like that, never could bring myself to do it on my G2, but the G3 doesn’t have the same turbo whistle as my ‘18 with the silencers/flow things in the tubes removed… missing that whistle!
Anyone have experiences with taking a vehicle in for warranty work with an upgraded intercooler? I know all about the MM act regarding aftermarket parts etc, but looking for real world experience in the matter. I guess it would likely only matter in cases where issues occurred with turbos or...
I use all the tech too but some of us venture into places with weak cellular signal from time to time and don’t care to subscribe XM. I’ve got wired CarPlay available, and even a wireless adaptor plugged in, along with multiple streaming subscriptions to use. I don’t have much everyday need...
Bronco looked solid! Definitely less fancy than my 2018 802a Raptor from a drivers perspective, but that’s to be expected with a smaller vehicle. Quality seemed great and the Ford staff who were doing the demo were great!
We ordered a Badlands package Bronco with the Bilstein “HOSS” package...
The wife and I attended a 2021 Bronco event yesterday, she has one on order and the dealers are doing demo events now with Ford stock from Michigan.
As we were leaving, I noticed the 2021 Bronco has a different style antenna than us, I couldn’t measure - but it sure looked shorter. Without the...
Recent purchase of Toyo RT (OEM size) / C rated here, I put mine on 17x9 Enkei RPT1 wheels but they are OEM size. So far great tires, no increase in road noise (yet). I’ve had Duratracs, KO2s, Mickey Baja ATZ P3 and these Toyo RTs are equivalent to the KO2 noise level in my opinion - my Baja...
Anyone else noticed this FSA in their Ford Pass app?
I have a later 2018 build and this FSA wasn’t there a week ago - software fix for cam phaser rattle? I searched on Google for the FSA number but didn’t find much.
Old news?
Figured I’d put up some pictures of my Magnetic Metallic with RPT1 Copper wheels. OEM ride height, 315/70/17 Toyo RT tires on 17x9 +12mm offset.
Thanks to Pacific Wheel for having fast shipping and great customer service!
