Hey guys, DMs returned. Sorry didn't see my notifications
These shocks are part of the icon rear kit. They bolt into stock shock mountings and allow for more travel, so if you have the icon bumpstop kit you pull a little spacer and get more up travel to match the down travel. I'm pretty sure...
I'm selling my rear RXT shocks from my gen 1. Went shocks through the bed so these are no longer needed.
I accidentally damaged a hose while I had them off the truck so I rebuilt them.
The shocks have less than 5k miles since new and 0 on current rebuild. Also with shocks are some LGE-CTS upper...
I did my Icon 3.0 fronts last year, they weren't too bad. I'm about to crack into my rears before I sell them so they're fresh. If you've done other shocks they're nothing crazy.
Different Generation, but I had a somewhat similar issue on my truck. Ended up being the inner tie rod delrin was messed up and was allowing a little slop.
I found by accident going from a trail to road to trail when I left the truck in 4h and it actually felt better. I always figured it maybe...
Read through this on BLGT.
Love the plates for the frame you made, I'm gonna try to do something similar when I get off my ass and throw shocks through my bed.
Did you get your IBPs up front? Bitchin truck man
My RST 18 rack just came in so I'm getting rid of the rack I currently have. The rack is made by me, I'm a plumber by trade so the rack is all 1 1/4" sch 40 pipe (free to me).
I've had it for 2 years and it's been pretty dam good. I would change tie down points if I could do it again, but it...
I made a cheap mid-ship mudflap. Hoping it will help with roost, in reality it'll probably fall off at the first rock and poke a hole in one of my rear tires.
They are always a beadlock, but there isn't a ring.
I have these on my Gen 1, I've had them for a year and a half.
I'm not nice to any of my equipment. Never had a leak from the wheel itself, only tires.
I like em, I'd recommend them.
All 3 gens are body on frame.
They went to an aluminum body in 2015 which is what you might be referring to?
Also ironically, the gen 1's had a frame bending stereotype to them. Bump kits beef up the back end though.
You can get below MSRP orders on TRXs, it's on their forums. The deal I saw was 9500 off a base truck. I get what you mean though, it's an expensive ass truck, but the resale on these trucks are pretty good too.
I wish a mortgage was TRX priced, living in SF bay area has me thinking 2 million...
For a 20k budget on top of a Gen 1, I'd be looking at upgrading the platform to something like a TRX. They are fast as shit from the factory and come with a warranty. My dad has one and I gotta say, it's pretty fun ripping that thing around.
The 6.2 is a good dumb workhorse and that's why I...
I don't have the posts for posting in the for sale thread. I had a Banks intake on my truck and hated it, I don't have the heart to charge someone for it.
It kept popping off my airbox and it would get the filter dirty way faster. Anyway replaced it with a S&B so if anyone is in the SF Bay...
