https://www.fordraptorforum.com/threads/major-engine-issue-after-owning-my-raptor-for-a-little-over-a-month.93747/ look at this post. same issues. Mine had a catastrophic failure within 70 miles of phaser replacement. 57k miles.
This happened within 70 miles of having my cam phasers replaced. They are replacing the engine. No engine lights. It just went. Also had an actuator problem that they had fixed with whatever new tsb came out for it. It was running great until it wasn't. They said they had never seen that...
I have had similar issues. 1. I drove a couple of full tanks of gas on the freeway. Almost home got off the freeway and back to city driving. Estimated miles went from 100 to 10 in about 8 miles. Second issue is if under 100 estimated miles and I park on an incline for a while it ends up...
I have had mine replaced twice in 4 months. Arizona freeways suck for rocks. I have free glass and the company I use puts original soundscreen glass in. My buddy used safelite and did not get soundscreen glass. If you have lane assist they will have to drive your truck and recalibrate the...
It is a 3 day process. I took mine to a Lincoln dealer. They explained the process Fordtech1 did in a previous thread. I would guess that ford doesn't want to tie up a lift bay for 3 days. The pan ford changed leaked again less than a year after it was 'fixed.
I take mine to the Lincoln dealership because Peoria Ford is a giant POS. The Lincoln dealer scheduled a time for me and I got my truck looked at and called me back within 2 hours. It was for an oil pan leak not cam phasers though. But at least they actually fixed it. Unlike the Ford dealer...
Mine has leaked twice and fixed properly once. Peoria Ford' did a shitty job and it started leaking again. Looked like they fixed it and it still leaked so they just smeared sealant across a corner. It was a minor leak. Took it to Sanderson Lincoln and they fixed it properly. Apparently it...
If you went to a dealership I would believe it. They are a shady bunch. Tried to do the same thing to me. Put my new spare on and the old tire back under the truck. I started going to a Lincoln dealer not affiliated with the shithole Ford dealer's group. The Lincoln dealer did an excellent...
You can always try a Lincoln dealer. Ford told me my truck would be in their que for 3 days. Lincoln dealer was able to diagnose it the same day I brought it in.
I bought mine there last year and they had both. Depending on your rims you will have to take the beauty rings off before you get there. Started carrying the torx bit in my glove box.
I have had it happen a couple of times as well. Only in normal mode with all the gear skipping. I haven't had it occur in sport mode. Just out of curiosity what modes are you in when it happens?
