Unfortunately, I have to trade my 2020. I put the Off-road Alliance triple bezel fog light bracket on and wired those to the auxiliary switches. I also put some lights below the rear bumper for backing up and also wired to the switches.
Would y’all remove those and sell separately? Or install...
Not sure why you’re looking away from DiamondBack. The thing is built like a tank. Zero water (or anything else) gets in, no matter the Texas storm. Highly recommend.
Plus, they say the Odyssey is the M3 of the minivan world. My sister had one and loved it. If we have another kid, then that’ll probably be the route for me. But definitely want to keep the Raptor.
That’s the current configuration…and it’s fine till we add another little human. Also, we do take the dogs a lot, but that may change with extra kids. Although, my GSD is the best protector of her pack so no one will go near my kids without me hearing it first.
Trust me, I’d rather take the...
Not trolling. If you read my post, you’d see I ask how others have fit their large families or if they had to resort to a second vehicle for such things. I then ask for an opinion on said second vehicle because, as I’m sure you know, most families don’t just have two Raptors. Maybe if you spend...
Huh, I’ve only seen one R1T and I thought it looked bigger than that but I could’ve just been staring at their yellow calipers. I’ll definitely have to see one in person first.
While I agree the Tesla is not a luxury car (fit and finish are lacking, too much cabin noise, etc), I haven’t seen that with the battery replacement. I’ve seen that at 150k miles it loses 10% charge but supposedly the modules can be replaced for $7k. Either way, we own it outright (same with...
I’ll look into those fans. I do have a Diamondback cover but for times when the whole family is going somewhere, I could potentially remove it. However, the two crates in the bed may fit but not much else.
Yea, for the price of the Expedition I could look more seriously at the Rivian.
I like the Explorer but I agree, it’ll be cramped with 3 kids and 2 dogs.
I bought the Raptor when it was just the wife, my 9-year old daughter, and me. Since then we’ve added two big dogs (one 75 lbs pitsky and one 100 lbs GSD), a baby, and we’re talking now about another child in a couple of years. As it currently is, we’re pretty cramped. Any ideas on how to fit...
2020 here. No regrets. No issues. I don’t open my sunroof often (Texas heat is no joke for passengers) but when I do I first tilt it open and assist the tilt by pushing up a little on the glass. Then I close that and open the whole thing. I came from a car with a sunroof and our other car is a...
Dime size marbles is the name of my band.
My Raptor got hailed by 1”-2” chunks and it was the loudest thing I’d ever heard. Pulled under overpass and up the embankment so other cars could get in. Left a good number of dents. But, I’m in Central Texas so it’ll happen again. :(
I got a Diamondback tonneau cover specifically because I wanted more covered storage space. I love it. We have trouble all fitting in anything but a minivan now though…newborn, 9 year old, 2 big dogs, wife, and me. However, unless my wife is up for trading her Tesla for a minivan (she’s not)...
Ok, not sure why people think it’ll be stolen if you have the key - these trucks disable driving without a key present. So unless someone is hot-wiring, don’t worry about that.
I park, make sure the dash computer has “Auto Engine Shutoff” unchecked, then get out, lock the doors with the FOB...
You have my condolences. LA is a God-forsaken place. My family is from there going back generations and I am so glad we all got out.
I did have my Raptor while there for 2 months and it stayed in the garage while I drove a sedan the entire time. Tried taking it out a few times and even parking...
I’ll try pressing the upper vent. I had the middle by itself (face) and the middle and lower one pressed and neither made much of a difference. There’s air coming from the console vents, just not enough to be comfortable.
Seems like a major oversight by Ford for this to be “normal.” Whether someone buys an F150 for work or to haul their family, the backseat will be used and needs AC.
My 2020 has been great. My biggest complaint is the heat/AC for the back seat. I live in Texas and feel like my daughters and dogs in the back are going to die without more air. Is mine broken or is this normal? If normal, is there a fix? It’s hot as balls and I have ceramic tint everywhere. Thanks.
