Apparently the Teamsters are claiming that they will refused to cross picket lines so even if your truck is built, it might not get shipped.
Mine took 2.5 months from built to dealer (first week MY23)
Definitely not. The g3 has a decent payload on paper but this shows that it isn’t fun.
Maybe it’s the level, but I can’t even use cruise control when I am towing a small 18ft boat.
I might be in a smaller camp but so far, I regret getting rid of my g2 for my 23. It’s been full of problems so far. I’m getting worse MPG as well.
There are tons of upgrades for the truck but I also lost Torsen and heated steering wheel. The truck rides better and I love the screen...
I like the satin PPF
On my last Raptor, I put AMP steps on. I think they look better. About a month later I got the worst door ding of my life. Also, I got a lot more scratches from rocks being flung off the tires.
Won’t be doing AMPs on this truck
My 2011 had moulded leadframe problems. It was a dealer demo, and I was told by the salesman the warranty was from the day I bought it.
Anyway, they gave me a loaner from the dealer and then called me about the truck a week later. Turns out, the warranty was 3/60 from the date of delivery. I...
Even with first day loaner on your ESP? When I lived in Houston, I generally got one the first day. Also, I’ve never heard of the 24-48hr diagnostic period. I have lived in several states and 6 cities, on my 7th F150, and have never been asked for that diagnostic drop off period before getting...
South LA.
Having to drive over an hour to get to the dealer willing to help (the one I purchased at). Three local dealers, all refused loaners, and were sept-nov for appointments. 2/3 wanted the truck for "up to 48 HR" to then schedule an actual appointment at a later time. Of course all are...
I tried. They said that they cannot do anything to help with dealer wait times. The lady I spoke to pretty much argued with me and then we "lost connection" at some point after waiting so long.
I don't really know what to do with the truck. I waited so long for it and like the truck overall...
They can’t fix anything so far. Had the truck 8wk and now my truck is missing parts and more issues than before. Other dealers can’t get me in for 4-5mo. I’m sick of driving a 2016 Ford Escape and not being able to tow my boat to go fishing
Mine was also the driver's side shock sensor, caught up in plastic from the factory and pulled from it's hanger to rub the CV boot.
Dealer isn't wanting to fix it because they "can't replicate the issue", despite visibly stripped/rubbed wires and a picture I took of the plastic caught up on...
Any update? My dealer still hasn’t gotten parts in to fix some of my truck’s problems, it’s been several months. Now my driver assistance is starting to mess up and drive modes intermittently unavailable. Tried to use the ProPower for the first time won’t work, and it says I need to go to dealer...
It’s frustrating to have such a rough idle. I’ve noticed if you rev to 700rpm it smooths out.
Once someone cracks the 23, it would probably be worth getting it tuned even if it’s just to raise the idle RPM
It’s odd that Ford has it stamped the opposite of how they install. Makes you think they would be backwards but they’ve been doing it that way for years so it seems purposeful
So you would 100% roll over on any issue the dealer claimed was your fault? Years ago, a dealer blamed my 33” Raptor takeoffs for causing transmission problems in my 2013 F150. I paid $2800 to have the “moulded leadframe” replaced and it fixed it.
Years later, I was randomly checking for a...
They are also the gateway between customers and FMC for repair work. I don’t know of any FMC wholly owned and run facilities in my area, all are dealers.
Does Ford have a healthy business? Financially, is FMC doing well? Does FMC always make customer focused decisions?
I’m not trying to say that Ford treats their auto warranty work as American Home Shield treats homeowners. I just pointed out that it is in their best interest, financially, to...
Where did I say that they want to “screw” customers?
It is a fact that it is in their best interest to deny every claim possible, financially. Whether they do that and to what extent, only FMC knows. Much of that comes down to dealer relationships…but is does mimic the insurance business model...
They have the number one selling vehicle in the nation. Every single vehicle they make is sold nearly the minute it hits the lot. They are a publicly traded company with the goal of maximizing profit.
Yes, the costs are built into the pricing…but why on earth would they voluntarily spend money...
