Bro, I spent hours looking at these things.
Bought one on amazon for $500 bucks, hauled hundreds of pounds of stuff with no problem.
If spending $1500-$2000 makes you feel better, then boom, do it.
The RAPTOR was my first truck also...
Extremely happy that I chose it and happier that Ford built it.
I do wish, however, that they built a more reliable 3.5... or give me back my muthaduking $7500 for this new engine.
Someone said something about a Toyota.. and that would be an interesting battle, because we know Chevy aint building anything to compete with the RAP or TRX. The new Tundra does look pretty dang good in white with that blacked out grill..
But Toyota is going to have to find some hips for it..
Honestly...
I thought I was going to buy a new engine and blah blah blah...
When my crankshaft did a backflip and broke its fking ankles, I searched and searched for ideas. I went and just did a stock everything and just threw my tune back on. When I did the calculations, I just need to drive...
Honestly - Amazon...
It was $500 back in the day, gave it a try and it was amazing. While people are spending upwards of $1800 to carry some shit that they'll never use because they think the world is ending every other month due to a politic saying prepare yourself.
