Not yet. Truck is almost paid off. Once I get there I’ll put that money into the repair…I think.
I’m debating what to do as I am in IL and more salt/rust; etc is to be expected.
Go Gen 2/3 aluminum, or keep the OG SVT and dive in…
PPF looks great! Questioning the Fuel wheels (and bumper) - do people actually like those?
Admitted Method convert from stock Gen 1 beadlocks; IMO the Methods make the truck feel lighter and more responsive, although the Gen 1 bullet holes are legit.
No, I haven’t had any CEL, but I haven’t plugged it in to check for codes either.
I heard a ticking and searching here helped me track down the possible arcing issue. I ended up taking a video at night and that’s how I found out it was arcing.
Did the search, didn’t find anything.
2014 rear passenger marker light working intermittently.
Was going to replace as it was out, but then came back to life. Thinking about slapping some dielectric grease on it maybe?
Anyone else experienced this? Did the old take it out and...
I need to replace my coils as a couple are arcing. Does the arcing cause any damage that should be extremely concerning or is it kinda get to it when you can?
Specifically, as one who needs fronts replaced, and having Gen 2’s that need rebuilt on hand, I am very interested in sending them to Hammer to have the Mikra treatment over something as drastic as replacing coil buckets when another option exists.
Love to see what the intense testing proves...
@Johnny@Hammerbuilt wonderful information, although as a Gen 1’er I feel left out.
Can you comment on upgrading Gen 1 shocks, specifically your partnership with @Doug Mikra so we Gen 1 guys can get Gen 2 shocks on our Gen 1s with the rebuild/Mikra program?
