Does it go away after some times or if you change exhaust modes? Mine has a very similar reoccurring sound and it is from the exhaust valves and goes away after a few mins. It can be fixed with the TSB 22-2388 if so. The big thing here when I had mine done was the PCM (or BCM) update that came...
I must have be the one with the opposite feelings of the Geiser springs all around. During my recalibration, I ended up losing the shock modes and steering modes because apparently the ride height of the truck thought it was not level, and had to purchase FDRS access to initialize everything...
I'll throw this out there in case it might help anyone. I had Geiser Springs installed all around on my 37PP truck, and had the same issues of a rougher ride and whatnot. After lots of researching and trial and error, I realized the front 2 sensors were both sitting at ~150mm and the rears were...
I think the only thing you get on an F250 Tremor versus a non-Tremor package is the additional drive modes as well. Maybe these modes can be added via ForScan or something? I also don't know if this changed with the 2023+ F250s as this was back in early 2022 when I was cross shopping these. If...
I had a 2019 Gen 2 before jumping to a 2022 Gen 3 with the 37PP. I also test drove a 2022 F250 Platinum Tremor before deciding on my Gen 3. The Tremor was nice enough on the inside, especially with massaging seats and the ride height, and diesel power. Diesel trucks are pretty sweet too, but I...
I know this is not perfect for advice, but I noticed when I had the TSB done the dealership updated the BCM as well as replaced the springs on the actuators, and the rattle went away and it seemed the truck would start up with the valves open (truck was louder on startup). I think the biggest...
I tried to put a set of the AMS tubes on my Gen 3 and they didn't seem to fit perfectly. The Driver side was ok, except on the Gen 2 (19+ iirc) had an extra sensor on that length of pipe, so you'd need to plug that on a Gen 3. Also the passenger side was too short as well, but I ended up...
Yeah, I recommend it for sure. Worked with Goose for a couple weeks to dial in the 91 ACN and full E85 for the truck after the ID1050 injectors. Definitely a professional and a super skilled and knowledgeable man with this platform and tuning. Just waiting on some extra performance mods to come...
Yeah my truck was an early '22 model when the applique was constrained still. Definitely recommend those clamps that expand enough to go around the tailgate when its down and adhesion promoter. Could probably also get away with using some wood or something to run the distance of the tailgate to...
Did anyone else catch the crazy rattling in the video when they did their startups? I would hope that is solved before the final version is released. Also wonder price versus the Magnaflow one, especially since the stock exhaust doesn't sound horrible to me.
I was planning on an upgrade to the Garrett PowerMax turbos until I was told that they did not fit gen 3 yet, though I think someone on here stated that Full Race is expecting Gen3 compatibles ones from Garrett later this year. Waiting on that or hopefully an MSRP Raptor R lol. I bought the...
So I installed the CVFab V2 and the Hot and Cold Side piping today. Let me say that the finish on everything was great, but man was fitment crazy tight. I followed this a guide and also used the guy with a 2021 Powerboost video on Youtube for reference. Now my biggest complaint is the hot/cold...
I installed these last weekend myself. It was pretty straightforward, but some things that helped me were: 1) leaving the liners in the sun for a few hours before installing so they were a bit more flexible. 2) It’s not required, but I took the rear wheels off to give myself a lot more room and...
I'm not an audio engineer, nor a major audiophile. I did buy the SoundsGoodStereo "Stealth Plus" Kit (The $2200 one) and finished installing it rather recently. The way these trucks come as stock for $80-90k is ridiculously awful. Speaker Count is not something they should have focused on and...
Hey Tom,
Thanks for all these photos of the build. I did the install for my one of their Stealth Behind the Rear Seat Packages this last weekend and found myself using your photos quite a bit to check placement and how to do the sound deadening material and wiring. Need to finish it all off, but...
Glad it all worked out well man, and yeah I knew I had to try it since I was hating the way the truck looked without the applique! Was about to tell the parts department to just order a whole new assembly since I couldn't find any totaled 3rd Gens to take the tailgate. Glad you got it all sorted...
Yes to the sealant being on the outermost raised edge. If you used it in a sealant gun it would come out rather uniform along that edge. However I first attached the 3M VHB tape to the area just outside of the outermost raised edge and like I said, I left enough off the ends (cut the excess tape...
Absolutely. Let me know if there's any other questions that you have. The sealant I used in the picture has a quick working time of like 15-20 mins, but its totally doable if you use that "ridge" on the tailgate to align the top of the applique. Also highly recommend putting down painters tape...
Yeah for sure I can go into a little more depth. I used an oscillating tool with a 2 inch wide blade and cut the tabs down to the base. The only ones I did not need to cut down or remove were the ones in the center that have no pins or anything and are barely raised off the center of the...
Thank you. Definitely the best solution in my opinion unless a whole tailgate was readily available for a swap.
I’m also probably only about $1000 -/+ a bit into it and a half of a missing Saturday if people wondered the total time/money. Also gave me a reason to pick up some new Milwaukee...
Yes, I did the install today. It was rather easy, but I took some time over the last few weekends to get the prep right so I would not have any issues with everything. Overall, I think my method where I used 3M VHB tape and a sealant worked very well.
Sorry I do not have any photos of the work...
The “Raptor” emblem looks like it’ll need to come off since it sticks out quite a bit but the Ford Oval looks like it’ll be fine. I’ll end up test fitting it soon and go from there. It’ll cover the “F-150” stamp too. Looks to be about a half inch below the stamp area since it’s centered on the...
It looks like 3M VHB tape will work, but there will be a bit of modification to the back side of the appliqué to make it flush to the tailgate. I plan to use 3m VHB since I used it for the installation of my C8's aero kit as well and its held up with no issues. Prep was key with this though...
No problem. Not sure why dealers wouldn't provide the full thing either. Maybe because it lists at close to $1500 and they want the full price sale. None of the ones near me would price match an online dealer either lol
