I have a strong feeling that the Raptor will be getting a massaged version of the hybrid motor, probably for a mid-cycle refresh. I'm guessing they planned to do it for release but COVID set that back, kinda like the 6.2 in the Gen 1.
I wasn't necessarily going to go right to the Gen 3, but...
I've been sick of people crowing about the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times since the Gen 1 came out. Go buy a TRX if you must have crazy 0-60 times, but don't come to me when you get single digit fuel mileage and the engine grenades itself in a few thousand miles like they seem to be doing.
I think the funniest part of this thread is someone assuming they'll have less issues with an FCA product than with a Ford. Just make sure to get an extended warranty.
I know when I want to put a big, sharp, ugly hook in my tow hitch, I definitely want it placed where it will slice my wrists open when I go to use the winch.
Mine just arrived! It was a dealer allocation that they adjusted to my specs not a special order. Allocation was put in right when the 2019's came up in October, BLEND date was 11/29 and it just arrived two days ago (12/19).
Edit: This makes my 6th Ford and my 3rd Raptor.
Oh that makes sense, it was a dealer allocation for stock order that they changed to my specifications. So it's my truck, but it's not a "customer order".
'Cause no one would buy a Dodge without massive discounts.
The new RAM just looks sad, bulbous and dumpy, like an average Arkansas WalMart dweller. My dad is a "RAM man" and every time I have to drive his I remember why I prefer Ford.
Honestly, about the only thing worse than a Dodge is a GM...
So I have a 2019 incoming and I've been thinking about wheels. My 2013 has a set of SVT Beadlocks I got on the cheap from Les Schwab (they were takeoffs from a local guys Raptor build, made a semi-lowball offer and got 'em) and I love the look. Will the Gen 1 wheels fit the Gen 2? I plan on...
I have a 2019 on order and I have a window sticker and vin #, but I've tried shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking and etis.ford.com and both say that there is no information on my VIN. Is there somewhere else I can try?
Edit: ETIS now shows some generic info and that there's no Outstanding Field...
