Bumping this up as I just took my raptor here and this place sucked. There is no Clark here, just a Carlos. I need recommendation for an alignment shop in so cal.
Dang, thank you for this. I’ll probably just end up going somewhere else. I don’t feel like arguing with this shop and then trusting them to work on my truck. Any recommendations for an alignment shop in SoCal?
So they didn’t have the numbers and the guy said it wasn’t the alignment and it was the rack and pinion..? He said to bring it back and he’d adjust the steering wheel. Debating on taking it back or taking it somewhere else.
I have eibachs, deaver +3’s and svc bumps and tie rods. I had my alignment done post install.. .
Steering wheel has to be to the left to go straight. Is it still off or is the road crown? Truck drives awesome and right but I feel my alignment is off. Do I need different bolts or a slot delete...
So I currently have a 2020 scab that I’ve been slowly but surely modifying.
I currently have:
Alpha equipt +24 offset wheels
SVC bolt on front bumper
Deaver +3
SVC bump stop kit
SVC shackles
SVC bed support
I would like to eventually get the fox 3.0 live valves but I, correct me if I’m wrong...
Can I lose sleep over the steering rack? Lol. It appears that it may have been from a 2017 raptor...I’m concerned about a future warranty claim.. but not sure how much of an issue I should make about it.
I was told that one of the steering rack bolts would just turn and turn and not come out. Mind you it’s a brand new truck. When I picked up my truck I was told they ordered a bee bolt and replaced the steering rack with one with 100 miles on it. I was a little confused but I didn’t think to ask...
This was done by a VERY popular and reputable shop so I don’t think they screwed me or anything. Turning radius seems fine. I’m assuming it was from another raptor, I should have asked my questions at the time.
