Hey there,
When that happened to me I used Forscan and recalibrated the ACC system. When the recalibration was complete I immediately turned off the Collision Alarm system and ACC. I have not had any issues sice I did this and I can use regular cruise control with no issues, on long trips I have...
So my collision warning sensor kept going off when I did the mods and the ACC didn't work anymore. All I wanted was the regular cruise control to work again since I drive a lot on highways so What I did was recalibrate the ACC through Forscan.
Once that was done I immediately turned the ACC off...
Took it to the dealership and they said they found a hole in one of the seals on the A pillar. Should be good to go now, guess we will see.
Added pics I took right after the storm. you can clearly see some water and some rust as well.
Interesting for sure!
It's not a lot of water but its enough to make me a bit nervous especially after reading the issues some have had with their sunroofs.
I wanted to see if anyone else is getting some rain/water inside of the truck after a really hard rain?
It's only happened after a few hard downpours and I've only noticed it when I go into the truck just after. I felt the parking brake and the water is def coming down from it but I don't know...
I have a 2018 and after I installed a cut frame bumper and relocated my sensor i had the same issues. I tried taking it to the dealership but they wouldn't touch it since I installed a new bumper. Ultimately I had to use Forscan and recalibrate the ACC and after it completed I had to shut the...
So the tie rods are only mandatory for the 2017's, the 2018's Do Not Need them per Alcon.
People will tell you they are needed but they ARE NOT for 2018+.
How did you guys get your 37's to fit in the stock location? My BFG ko2 will not fit?
I'm guessing you guys are talking about Gen 1? 37's wont fit in a Gen2.
Like I said above. You most likely wont be able to use the ACC. I had the same issues and had to re-calibrate the ACC module with Forscan then when it was complete I had to turn the ACC and Collision warning system off. No I have regular cruise control and no issues
In the end I'd rather have my regular cruise control then have these issues all the time hence why I disabled them. ADD didn't even have a solution to the problem and it says nothing about it not working on their website.
So I got this alert when I cut the frame for my new bumper. I took it to 3 dealerships and none of them would touch it so last resort was to recalibrate with forscan. The key to doing this is to calibrate then when it is complete via Forscan you must turn the collision alarm off and keep it off...
