I know it's been posted & lots of people have done it, but my Sync 3 in my 2018 was lagging ridiculously behind, my phone wouldn't stay connected, map was off, & just jacked up to the point of not really being usable. Downloaded the updater from cyanlabs & it's all good now. Thanks to this forum...
#1 : I had an issue with large blackbirds removing waste from their tree & systematically placing it in a row on top of my hot tub cover. Strangest thing ever. I waited with an airsoft pistol & came very close to hitting it, but it still wouldn't be scared off. I installed a fake owl (one of the...
Had the Moog wheel hubs (front) replaced yesterday & all seems well. I've heard that Moog makes the hubs for Motorcraft. I don't know that for sure, but so far so good. Everything is back to normal.
I'm trying to find a new wheel bearing for my 2018 Raptor. Anyone happen to have one laying around? :) Or, more likely know where I can get one faster than 4-6 weeks? Any help is appreciated!
I have a German Shepherd as well & she's the best. Super sweet & loving to anyone I trust, but she goes crazy w/ other dogs or humans that set something off in her. It's a great way to size up other people. Maybe that Shelby just can't be trusted. Or maybe she just has something against your...
I have a step daughter that graduated from CU this year. I wasn't in her life early enough so she's a crazy liberal. I love her but I'm really hoping she grows out of that someday. My wife & three boys on the other hand will always do all we can to get back to the red state we loved. Idaho does...
As someone else mentioned, I would put some sort of rodent deterrent around, in, under the truck. I have a pretty big part of the plastic cover in the engine bay eaten away by rodents. They make little bags that have an unpleasant odor (rodents hate it anyway). I'd put 1 or 2 of those inside the...
My guess is that they have had to get strict due to so many people trying to get in after the year is up. I bought my Raptor in December of 17 and only found out about the Raptor Assault the following December. The dealer never mentioned it & I never got the invitation/information mailed to me...
That reminds me of my '96 Bronco. Bought from a guy that said the back window was broken & wouldn't roll up or down. Pushed really hard on the gate to fully close it & worked perfect ever since. After I got it open/down I replaced the weather strip & lubed everything. I wish I could buy that...
Damn, that does suck. I recently clean my K&N air filter & notice A bit of battery insulation was missing & the engine cover had what looked like the beginning of a multi-unit pack-rat condo being constructed. Took some big chunks out of the cover as well. No fire, but critters definitely love...
I've used that Fresh Cab stuff in a crawl space & on my fishing boat with great success...Where and how should it be hung? I just discovered rodent damage as well & need to resolve it. Thanks!
That depends on the dad, but if they both have new Raptors I'd assume they have a pretty good relationship. I would've loved to have brought my son along. That would've been awesome.
If you go into it as an experience & not as an intensive & complete school for off-roading then you'll easily have fun & probably learn a thing or 2. Like another post said, driving someone elses Raptor is very relaxing and getting a (someone elses, again) Raptor at a 30 degree angle, to me, was...
I went in March (2019) after a bit of a snow storm so in spots it was REALLY muddy & other parts snowy (the higher we went) & then mostly dry lower. One of the instructors in front as we descended got stuck. We waited for 15 minutes or so until he got out. Had no idea how bad it was until I...
Very nice combo. The only thing that I'd do is change the red on the steering wheel to blue. I think that would show that it is 100% YOUR Raptor. Now, how to do that, I do not know...but I love that mine is orange with the orange accents/stitching.
That's good to know. I've never ever used the keypad. Seems like such an old technology...I'm curious to see how many other Raptor owners have NEVER used the keypad...
