Ahh, that explains it. I have had a few cars setup with thick yellow film from Lamin-x over the fog lights or headlights and it gave the color I was looking for. I just didn't place it in that photo. I have some projector headlights I was going to modify, this may be a way to go with them.
Thanks!
I like the DRL/led yellow instead of amber. What brand/model are the headlights and tail lights? they dont look like morimoto XB headlights.
Thanks

Looking for a good condition (doesn't have to be perfect) front bumper with brackets for a gen 1 after an unfortunate incident with my raptor parked in my driveway.
I am located in western Washington but I am willing to meet to pickup locally depending on location and condition.
Not looking to...

I have been chasing a intermittent TSS sensor fault causing erratic shifting and hanging in second or third gear, i replaced the valve body control assembly, filter a performance automatic deep trans pan and their trans dipstick kit.
All seems to be normal now, after re-calibration and a 45...
thanks for the input, the thing I am really concerned about is how bad/loud the drone will be when I tow my travel trailer. DD it is mostly only me in the truck and I can live with some but towing is the whole family and it may cause an issue.
I do have a valve on the top, looks like a 2.5psi but the cap is not drilled.
I used a derale cooler from summit. It was more stout than the gj cooler option and was able to fab similar brackets and I wanted to use AN fittings throughout.
I ordered a small catch can from Amazon today, I hope...
I made my own kit with the Kartek reservoir and a different style cooler and completely bypassed the factory cooler in the condenser.
The cap on mine is not drilled and it pukes a little down the side and makes a mess. My plan is to drill the top and add a small catch can that will catch the...
My A/C would blow cold for about a minute and then warm, airflow was terrible and blend door actuators were toast.
see the post here I found a layer of dirt about 1/4 inch thick on the evaporator that was causing the compressor the "short cycle" and the humidity sensor would always think it was...
hah i was almost there too, as soon as I found the broken studs I was contemplating having it towed to a mechanic but since the wife is working virtual I was able to steal her car and drive my land cruiser to work instead. lets just say my land cruiser's mpg makes me happy to be driving the...
Replaced the passenger side exhaust manifold, gasket and extracted the two broken studs causing the exhaust leak.
I would rather remove and replace the a/c evaporator core again instead.

it was the one on the bottom between the floor and the HVAC box that the claim was made it could be replaced without removing it... not happening. At least not happening with a flow through center console and the floor vent under the front seats.
Yes definitely, the temp actuator was already making noise, so I replaced all of them even if they were still working.
I have seen a couple videos claiming that you can replace them without removing the dash... it looked unlikely (without hacking it up) to me.

not today but I replaced the evaporator and condenser, think O found out why my a/c wasn't working. This truck spent the first half of its life on a ranch and the dust and hay behind the dash show it. The Air conditioning works great now and blows 48* air out of the vents.
