I think the ‘24 R wheels is the best design Ford has released. I only replaced them because my OCDness would come out when I washed the truck and found myself spending way too much time cleaning them.
I average ~12 mpg during my daily city driving commute. ~7 mpg during a Raptor event. I carry a 5-gal fuel jug for precautionary measures during those events.
I’ve been in communication with Titan-7 about the center caps as well. I requested a more flush mounted option than the current option. They told me it won’t come in the bronze so we’ll have to get it painted to match.
This will be my 5th year attending Snoball and look forward to catching up with everyone again in a couple months. It’s my favorite event of the year.
Out of everything you’re looking to purchase (aside from the tires), the two most important items are rear facing ambers and a powerful radio...
I had to enlarge the holes so the hardware would actually fit through so I could mount the bumper to the truck. I also had to enlarge the holes for the park assist sensors, which never did sit flush. The bumper looked good but glad I made the switch to SVC’s where it all fit perfectly.
As much as I really like the ‘24 OEM R wheels, my OCD of keeping my truck clean was making me spend too much time cleaning them. I knew I’d be buying another set of wheels. I didn’t want the standard Raptor starter kit by going with Methods. The wheels needed to be forged and true beadlocks...
Participated in TORR’s Dust Devil event in August. I was able to talk my wife into driving and now that’s she’s more comfortable hitting the jumps, we’ll start entering her in the events with her Braptor. My off-road hobby just got twice as expensive but no better way to enjoy these hobbies...
**SOLD**
Happy Saturday everyone,
I'm selling the factory headlock wheels from my 2024 Ford Raptor R. There are five (x5) wheels only; no tires or TPMS sensors. Factory lug nuts and OEM wheel locks are included. Wheels have less than 6k miles on them and in great condition.
Size: 17x8.5...
Thanks man. Suspension is all stock for now. I’m waiting until Fox comes out with their updated shocks for the dual live system. That’ll be some time since they’re just now close to releasing the updated suspension for the standard Gen3.
Ah, you’re close but this is the QT off Roswell Rd (120) and Canton Rd. I live in E. Cobb (Sprayberry HS area).
I’ll be sure to return the single finger salute if I see you! Lol
I searched the forum and YouTube and didn’t see anyone that has dovetailed their bedside on a Gen 3 - plenty of threads for the Gen 1 though. I’ve installed the SVC dovetail rear bumper and need to trim the bedside. I’m contemplating doing it myself before commissioning a body shop to do it...
